The night before last I had the privilege to watch a portion of the total lunar eclipse that occurred on Winter Solstice--something that hasn't happened in like 327 years or whatever....
I didn't watch the whole thing but it was still fun. I was worried I might not be able to see it because it was overcast as night fell where I live but over a few hours everything cleared off and the blood red moon made an awesome sight against the figure of Orion.
Staring at the heavens is so fun
