Isn't this cute? If only I had done it myself!
The fountains mingle with the river,
And the rivers with the ocean;
The winds of heaven mix forever
With a sweet emotion;
Nothing in the world is single;
All things by a law divine
In another's being mingle--
Why not I with thine?

See, the mountains kiss high heaven,
And the waves clasp one another;
No sister flower could be forgiven
If it disdained its brother;
And the sunlight clasps the earth,
And the moonbeams kiss the sea;--
What are all these kissings worth,
If thou kiss not me?

Just an AMAZING poem from Percy Bysshe Shelley.

WHEN A BELOVED PET DIES

I came across this article in LHJ about how to cope with the loss of a pet. They begin by dividing it into two categories: unexpected deaths and expected deaths. Well, my pet died about five months ago and reading this article got me to thinking about him.
My dog had been sick for a little while, probably with cancer, and in the last month of his life he started going downhill really fast. So we decided to put him down. I didn't have to witness it, thank goodness. I was sad for him, but I never cried. I guess I knew he was in a better place.
